Clarence
E. Reed was born in Houston, Texas on October 9, 1946. He was
admitted to practice in Texas in September 1972. Mr. Reed is admitted
to practice before all state courts in Texas, as well as the United
States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Mr. Reed
graduated from Rice University in 1968 with a B.A., and after
fulfilling military service, he received a Juris Doctorate from the
University of Texas in 1972. After graduation, Mr. Reed worked for
various petrochemical construction companies and oil and gas
exploration companies, including Procon, Inc., Standard Oil of
Indiana, and Apache Corporation. Since 1986, Mr. Reed’s primary areas
in private practice have included litigation of commercial disputes
and oil and gas matters.
