Lee S.
Gill was born in Mont Belvieu, Texas on December 15, 1951. He
attended the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a B.A. in
Economics in 1974 and a Juris Doctorate in 1977. He was admitted to
the Texas Bar in 1977 and the Louisiana Bar in 1978. He is a member
of the State Bar of Texas, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and
the Houston Bar Association, and is Board Certified by the Texas Board
of Legal Specialization in Oil, Gas and Mineral Law.
For over 30
years, he has been engaged in private practice in Houston,
specializing in oil, gas and mineral law, commercial matters and
related litigation. He has successfully represented plaintiffs and
defendants in disputes involving Breach of Contract, Boundaries,
Trespass, Conversion, Pooling, Title Matters, Gas Contracts, Operating
Agreements, Exploration Agreements, Lien Priority, Enforcement of
Security Agreements, Deeds of Trust, Real Estate, and other issues.
He has written articles for the newsletter of the Oil, Gas and Mineral
Law Section of the Houston Bar Association and the newsletter of the
Houston Association of Petroleum Landmen.
